Culinary Operations in Resorts & Clubs (CORC) Program

I was thinking about what culinary schools are here at home in Augusta. I looked into Augusta Tech but they only had a diploma program, whereas Helms College and go all the way up to a degree. And now we offer two diploma and two degree programs. We have instructors that have worked in the industry for 10 plus years. I got a chance to go to the Augusta National through them. In a classroom setting. You have your instructors doing a demo. They're walking around the classroom teaching you step-by-step -- Your hands, their hands, and you really get to get into it. The Helms College CORC program is going to be a wonderful opportunity for those that are going to be coming into Augusta. We are always looking for the next up and comers. We are committed to training and putting those students through that program. What inspired me to go through the CORC program was working at the Masters they just taught us different plating technique, different cooking techniques, and those same techniques that I had seen previously. I saw here at the CORC program. I got to work with chefs from literally all over the world. I wouldn't have had that opportunity and chance if I didn't find out why I should give it a shot. The classes before us still reach out to us. So it's like one big family.
